The Trachtenberg School of Public Policy and Public Administration in the Columbian College of Arts and Sciences offers a dual master of public administration (MPA) and graduate certificate in budget and public finance program. The certificate program augments the MPA with an additional credential that highlights the student's area of expertise and provides specialized study to help students expand their professional knowledge and skills. Up to 12 credits earned in the certificate program may be applied toward the requirements for the master's degree. All requirements for both programs must be fulfilled.
