The Conflict Resolution Concentration focuses on understanding the root causes of conflicts and how they escalate between nations and peoples, and considers local, national, regional, and international methods for resolving such conflicts. These methods include prevention, peacemaking, peacekeeping, and peace-building initiatives.

To fulfill this concentration, students complete five courses (15 credits) as indicated below. These courses must be taken in at least two different academic departments.
